Learn dances in the American as well as the International styles. We offer: Fox Trot The Fred Astaire dance, has a good-looking appearance, can be danced on Large or small floors, helps posture, improves balance. 75% of all ballroom music is the Fox Trot. Waltz A beautiful, graceful, elegant dance that shows off the lady. Tango "A man's dance," the tango teaches control. It is dramatic and expressive. If you can lead/follow the Tango, you can lead/follow anything! Rumba A stylish, romantic Latin dance, the rumba is a MUST for clubs. It can be danced to many different styles of music. Cha Cha The Cha Cha is a fun, challenging nightclub Latin dance. It's a personality dance with lots of flair. Swing We offer 3 types of swing. We have 4-count, which is very basic, easy, and fun. Then we step up to East Coast swing (triple-time), which is a little more advanced. Finally we introduce West Coast swing during the Bronze program. Salsa Salsa is a fun, trendy Latin dance, which is very popular within the Memphis club scene. Mambo Mambo is similar to salsa, but with more energy. Again, another popular dance in the club scene. Samba This is a fun, flexible, bouncy dance which keeps you light on your feet. It's part of the Latin trend. Merengue Merengue is a fun, EASY Latin dance. Paso Doble The Paso is the "bullfighter's dance." It is similar to Tango - very passionate and expressive. Bolero This is a very romantic dance. It is very slow. Viennese Waltz This dance is a much faster version of the American Waltz. It flies around the dance floor. **Our staff is also able to teach specially requested dances, such as Polka, Bop, and Two Step.
